presentation : In your job, do you have to talk in front of many people? It's called presentation.
projector : shows the pictures on the wall.

-> I was studying for my exam.
-> We were working all week.

past actions that continued fro some time
-> past continuous tense
-> action was continuing in the past
-> I  was studying last week. ( be + ing )
was ( I, he, she, it ) , were ( you, we, they )

So tell me, what were you doing when I was away last week ?
-> Well, I was working pretty hard all week.

3.
What was John doing during the presentation ?
-> He was helping me with the projector.
