should : to give advise

-> What should he do ?

should : obligation
-> One of us should be there when they get home.

can,could : something is possible or to ask a question.
-> Can( Could ) Sam's parents help ? Yes, they can.
could is more polite

may,might : to show it's possible
-> They might be able to help !
