Talking about obligations -> should, have to

to break a habit : to stop doing something.
hooked (addicted) : you can't stop doing something.
-> She is hooked on smoking. She can't give up.

Does Derek smoke ?
-> Derek doesn't smoke.
Does Kai smoke ?
-> Kai doesn't smoke.

2.
My doctor told me that I had to quit.
- had to(past), have to(present) : necessity ( Something is necessary )
-> I have to wear glasses.
-> When I was child, I had to wear glasses.

3.
I thought I should break the habit.
- should : Something is a good idea

4.
We have to buy a parking ticket here.

5.
Smoking is really bad for you.
You should quit.

6.
Three years ago, Derek's doctor told him he had to give up smoking.
